Carrie Cooper DPT is a doctor of physical therapy, former professional climber, and mom of two boys. She is dedicated to moving others through injury and into performance while educating them to stay injury free.

I started this space as a way to express my understanding of climbing injuries; to put pen to paper and share my knowledge with the broader climbing community in a concrete way.

In the many years I spent as a professional climber and now as a DPT, I’ve learned so much about the intricacies of climbing injuries— how they’re caused, how to treat them, and how to prevent them. In one-on-one sessions every day, I give people the tools they need to move through injury and into performance, while educating them to stay injury free. These tools have stood the test of time and numbers, and now it’s time to get them out into the world for everyone else to benefit from. I hope you’re able to find some useful nuggets here!
